Privacy Policy
Effective May 19, 2026
HomeView Devices (the “app”) is built and operated by Yashesh Bharti. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does with information.
The short version
HomeView Devices does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no servers operated by us that hold your data.
What the app accesses on your Apple TV
- HomeKit data. When you grant permission on first launch, the app reads thermostat accessories from your HomeKit Home using Apple’s HomeKit framework. This includes thermostat names, current temperature, target temperature, humidity, and heating or cooling mode. The app can also write changes you make to those values back to HomeKit. All of this happens on your Apple devices through Apple’s framework and never touches any server controlled by us.
What we do not do
- We do not collect analytics, crash reports, device identifiers, or usage data.
- We do not include third party advertising, tracking, or attribution SDKs.
- We do not sell, rent, or share any data with anyone.
- We do not require an account, email address, or login.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
